About the Department

As a sector accounting for about 10% of world employment population, tourism is a blue-ocean and future industrial sector, generating sustainable employment. In the rapidly changing Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in particular, the growth and development of transportation and IT technology have further increased tourism demand and facilitated tourism employment. It is ‘learning human’ with continuous learning, self-development and creative thinking, who is needed by society. This academic major is a knowledge-based, value-generating program designed to produce high-quality human resources for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) through a seminar class which ensures creative thinking-oriented debates and convergence tourism-designing seminars.
